Sample Database

ASX Database Snapshot

The sample database contains a snapshot of ASX tickers and is supplied with ASX setup for AmiBroker.

Sample data is fully adjusted (splits & dividends) stock quotes for improved equity analysis.

All tickers should be verified and data updated before using this database for trading.

Data source: Yahoo free historical quotes (See Stock Data for notes on Yahoo data).

Licensed users of AmiBroker may use the sample database as a template for their own ASX database.

New stock data may be imported over existing database data for corrections & updates.

Trial users of AmiBroker may use the sample database to explore existing tickers and industry groups.

Exploration of stock data & analysis is only limited by the restrictions of the trial version.

AmiBroker V5.20 uses a different database structure (Not to be confused with GICS layout) than AmiBroker V5.30.

AmiBroker V5.30 Database structure is not backward compatible with AmiBroker V5.20 Databases.

AmiBroker V5.30 DB's should be forward compatible with future version of AmiBroker.

Do not use the sample database with AmiBroker V5.20 or below.
